When Apex initially installed the EV charger, there was a bit of trouble as the electrical system from the house was not communicating with the charging unit. I called Apex again and they immediately sent someone out to go through all the connecting steps while on the phone with tech support for the charging unit and found there was a setting for being hard wired into the house that needed to be turned on. The EV charger has worked great since then. It was a reasonable price and the additional visit did not cost extra. The employees doing the service were nice. Less

I have to go with these guys to receive a $500 rebate, although I believe they are around $700 more expensive than going with a local electrician. I signed up for their service because I was told they would install before the other companies (most Important to me). I was receiving emails, phone calls, and text messages answering questions etc… until I signed. After signing the contract I have received one email and 0 phone calls or text messages. They somehow got my Charger that was being shipped to the Dealership now shipped to them. The one email I did receive included a UPS tracking number and a message stating they can’t schedule install until the now re-routed charger is in hand. So I am guessing another 2-3 weeks out after the Charger arrives, which is now pushing this most expensive install further out than others could have done it. All I was asking to do was schedule the Install for 4 business days after the charger is guaranteed to arrive (which is also a week later than what was going to be to our dealership and I could have picked it up). Save your time and money like I should have and go with someone else!! I will update this review if/when install ever gets completed.UPDATE:I will admit when I am wrong and after speaking with Apex I came to the realization my anger and failed communication is with “Emporium” not Apex. Apex understood my frustrations and the one thing they could control (the install) they got assigned and completed even sooner than I was originally expecting. Rickey showed up for install on time, was very professional, and completed work in a timely manner. Thanks Rickey and thank You Apex, for making up for the lack of communication with Emporium. Less

He was missing a part (my fault for sending a crappy photo), so he did all the install except that, and then stopped later to complete the install.He walked me through how to use it, how to get the app working with it, and the changes he made to the breaker box.The price was competitive, and from inquiry to job completion was about a week. TLDR: Apex Mechanical's installation of our Tesla Gateway 3V and Universal Wall Connector for use with Tesla Cybertruck for whole house electrical backup was clearly communicated, well executed, functioned brilliantly!In September 2024 we had Apex Mechanical (via Qmerit) install our Tesla Gateway 3V and Tesla Universal Wall Connector (to provide whole home electrical backup via Tesla Cybertruck).The entire install experience was solid and smooth. The Qmerit process (via my Pixel 7 phone only) was clear, simple and trouble-free. Most impressive was the experienced and consistent communication from Apex Mechanical.On install day the Apex Mechanical install team listened to all of my (layman's) input and then suggested an effective but simple/clean install design. The coordination with Clark PUD was also timely and efficient.Apex Mechanical commissioned the integrated system via photographs (to Tesla) and Tesla web/app interface (onsite and same day).Tesla's review and granting of commissioning took approximately three business days. Did a good job installing a level 2 EV charger in my garage. My install was kind of complicated due to having minimal space left in my breaker box, but they made it work. This was a GM (qmerit) install, and despite it being a challenging job, they were able to code this as a "standard install" which meant GM footed the bill.The inspector signed off and told me "this company always does a good job".
